This is fresh off the press!! m-flo's 10th anniversary album has just been released today! This album celebrates all the best songs in their 10 years as m-flo. The first disc has all the best songs from the Tripod Era (1999-2002) when Lisa was part of m-flo. There's also a brand new track with Lisa the first disc called SOUND BOY THRILLER. The second disc has all the best songs from the m-flo Loves Era (2003-2008) when m-flo featured some of the most popular Japanese singers in their music. There is also a "Biographical Mix DVD" of all the m-flo music videos mixed by ENLIGHTENMENT.

m-flo's Tribute -maison de m-flo- album is out! This album features Japanese singers performing covers of m-flo's hit songs. I haven't listened to the album yet, but as you guys know I'm not too fond of TVXQ's cover of Been So Long. I just hope that the other songs aren't as butchered. TVXQ/Tohoshinki BUTCHERS m-flo's "Been So Long"

TVXQ (東方神起 or Tohoshinki), a Korean boyband from Japan, remade m-flo's Been So Long, one of my favorite songs from m-flo. And they BUTCHERED IT. Now that's just WRONG! The TVXQ version sounds like some soul-less wussy boy band song. The singing part was meant to be sung a by a girl. I don't know which fag was singing Lisa's part but it just sounds so wrong on so many levels!!! No guy in the right mind will publicly sing Lisa's part of the song!! Man... there should be a punishment for blaspheming Been So Long. Please someone.... kick em in the balls (if they have any) when you get the chance.  This song unfortunately will be on m-flo's 10th anniversary TRIBUTE album.

Japanese hip hop group m-flo, comprising of Verbal as the rapper and Taku as the producer, celebrates their 10th anniversary today. Looking back at their history the group has divided m-flo's music into two different eras. The first era was the Tripod Era (1999-2002), when Lisa was part of the group. The second era was their Loves Era, (2003-2008) when they have collaborated with many popular Japanese artists.

m-flo - Been So Long

m-flo - Planet Shining

m-flo is a unique band which combines Japanese pop with hip hop and R&B. The original band members were Verbal the rapper, Lisa who provided the vocals and DJ Taku who provided the instrumental beats. Verbal is a Zainichi (which means he is an ethnic Korean that lives in Japan), Lisa is of Japanese and Afro-Colombian descent and DJ Taku is Japanese. In 2002, Lisa has left m-flo to pursue her solo career. After Lisa's departure, m-flo began its m-flo loves.... series which is a collaboration series with popular Japanese and Korean singers. m-flo has released 5 albums up to date: Planet Shining (2000), Expo Expo (2001), Astromantic (2004), Beat Space Nine (2005) and Cosmic Color (2007).

Been So Long is one of the earlier hit songs from m-flo. This song is about the pain that is that comes with broken relationship. Been So Long is from m-flo's debut album Planet Shining.
