Whoaa.. is this how they really do election rallies in the Philippines? Those pinays are smokin hot, especially the one to the right of D-Coy. There's a WHOLE LOT of hip thrusting in their dance and even a little ass wiggling for the crowd. I don't know much about this "Erap" guy they are all rooting for, but I can tell you off the rip that if that's how he runs his election campaign rallies, this guy is a straight up GANGSTA.

Check out this performance of upcoming Malaysian rapper Kraft doing a live performance of his song Diamonds for XFM's X-Gig Xtended. Wow. This kid has an amazing stage presence. The instrumental is pretty rockin too. It sounds like something Michael Jackson would spin around and dance too.

Matt Brevner - Top of the Globe (Live Performance)

Matt Brevner
I also met rapper and producer Matt Brevner (formerly known as MC-B and B Dot), at the Vancouver Asian Hip Hop Summit. Brevner is one of Vancouver's rising hip hop stars and is currently getting some spins in rotation on The Beat 94.5 FM, Vancouver's urban radio station. Brevner, who is half-Japanese, quarter Trinidadian and quarter German, was born and raised in New Westminster, British Columbia in the Metro Vancouver area.
After he finished his last song for his set at the Asian Hip Hop Summit, Brevner came and sat down with me. We were chillin and talking about the last song he performed (which was Top of the Globe, but I didn't know what was the song title at the time). Then he told me, "Yeah, chicks like that song." Hahaha, funny guy. Anyways, here's a video of Matt Brevner performing Top of the Globe live at Wild Coyote on June 12, 2009. Brevner also self-produced this song and I'm really diggin the production. Top of the Globe really grasps the feel of Vancouver's urban street culture, which is in dire need of representation. A lot of us urban youth from Vancouver have been waiting for a song like this to help put us on the map!

Hi-C poses nude for Playboy Philippines and launches her debut album "Body Talk"

Hi-C on the September cover of Playboy Philippines
For all you fans of Dice & K9 Mobbstarr, have you ever wondered about how Hi-C looks like in the nude? C'mon. Don't lie. Well you can find that out once you get your grubby little hands on this month's issue Playboy Philippines. Yep, that's Hi-C alright in the front cover of Playboy Philippines' September issue in UV black lighting with white body paint smeared all over her anatomy. Hi-C whose real name is Honeyleen Concepcion–Rosaroso, is from Cebu City in the Philippines (that would make her a "Cebuana") and she's the lead vocalist for the Filipino hip hop group Dice & K9 Mobbstarr. She also has recently released her debut solo dance-pop album called Body Talk.
Here's is a clip of Hi-C performing a remake of the 80's hit Physical at her Body Talk and Playboy issue launch in Metro Manila's LAX nightclub on 09/09/09. Physical will be Hi-C's first single off her Body Talk album.

In the second half of the video Sean Kingston comes on stage and presents an award... not really sure for what award though. Then Sean Kingston reveals that Joe Flizzow is the winner of the award and then Joe Flizzow comes back on stage to accept it.
